The Story of the Acorn
If an acorn could talk, what would it tell you?
I imagine it would say something like this:
One day things were good. I was minding my own business, hanging out in the sunshine, and then I wasn’t. I don’t know what happened. I'm not sure why, but I fell out of the tree, hit the ground, and just sat there... stuck. Then things only got worse. Somehow, I got buried. Now, I’m in the dark and I’m not sure what to do.
What the acorn doesn’t know is that with time and the right conditions,
it will grow beyond its wildest dreams into a tree with endless possibilities.
This tree could become the stern of a ship that travels the world, the framework for a house that a family calls home, or maybe just the tallest, strongest tree in the grove that shelters and shades.
If an acorn could talk, it would tell you
there’s not much more than "right now."
At some point in our lives, most of us have felt like this acorn-
stuck, in the dark, maybe even small and alone,
thinking that "right now" might be as good as it gets.

The great news is just like the acorn, you have everything you need within you to become the best version of yourself...
maybe a version you haven't even dreamed of, yet.
Imagine coaching as the sunshine and rain- the right conditions to help you on your journey. Now all you need is time to dream big, dig in, dig deep & reach for the sun.

Oak Grove
When choosing a coaching name, I didn’t want to choose any part of my name, as can be common in coaching. After all, coaching isn’t about me; it’s about you. It’s about recognizing your potential to grow beyond where you are now.
That’s where the “Oak” part comes in.
The Ancient Celts regarded the oak tree as a symbol of persistence-
a great force that can’t be stopped from growing.
The oak tree is also a symbol of wisdom, honor, stability, and strength.
My desire for my clients is they:
-realize their body is a source of wisdom if they slow down and listen
-honor themselves by working towards creating healthy habits & healthy boundaries
-develop a sense of stability by fostering a belief system built on personal truth. Most importantly, I want to help my clients find
the strength within themselves to do this for themselves.
In coaching, you are never on your own. That's the "Grove" part.
I'm with you, others who have walked your path are with you, and we are a community of support and growth. So there you have it...
Oak Grove Coaching.
(...and my husband went to Oak Grove Elementary & our first home was on Oak Drive. It all seemed a little too serendipitous to pass up.)
